Shout out to 3 meter Para Bellum

AKA AAron mentioned a while back he was doing some leather work. I mentioned I wanted to try an armband cartridge holder for use with my number 1s. He has completed the proto type but I have yet to give it a good field trial. Back pasture workout however indicates it works just fine. I’ll be messing with it some and then ordering 3 or four more to cover those number 1s I hunt with most often. This one was built for the 300 H&H.

I remember that post, and was wondering about it the other day when i saw some patterns for leather arm guards when looking for holster patterns

Thanks for the compliments, this is the very first thing that I have made for anybody other than myself. To me it will be really cool to have made a functional piece that actually serves someone well!

Yep, I do everything by hand, which is fun and makes very strong stitches, but it's also kinda slow!

I had never seen the 300 H&H in person before I got the cartridges for sizing. My 30-06 cartridges look so puny next to those honkers.

I agree it is slow, I'd love to get a leather sewing machine but, the wife hasn't approved the purchase. I need to sell a few more bags and belts.
