Showpow for Dummies :)

Just got home from the morning service, and reading this sure makes me hungry. Guess I'll settle for venison burger soup and sourdough bread.

Come on over I will cook some Lumpia and make some hot/sweet sauce for it ! Wife has some leftover pusit you are welcome to have

We haven't made lumpia since forever. After the children moved out, there was less incentive to spend the afternoon making lumpia. It sure does sound good, though. I'm trying to figure how to make it to Hawaii to spend some time chowing down with Russ! Lecho and pancit are a couple of favs for our family.

Mike now is the time to make it as it will last longer  it is not good to eat it very often anyway being fried but I think the hot sauce will cut the fat and make it say ok to eat all you want when you decide it's time ! I normally cook it and use ground turkey, green beans, carrot's and lots of garlic and a little soy sauce ! Wife gets to roll them as I stopped rolling back in the 70's  but we could all meet up in Manila and buy 1 of these below and get really stuffed really quickly !

Sure looks fine, Terry. I just finished dinner a bit ago and that picture makes me hungry. My, oh my.

You sure that is pork? Sure looks like MSM to me kinda like a chicken nugget in a can ? Wonder what parts they get in that little can, Hummm :)

My understanding of it is a little bit of this and that. Scraps all mashed up into can size.
Russ

We call it Spam Musubi. Spam with onions and tomato sauce, Spam tempura, fried rice, saimin, plain with eggs, in a omlete, baked with pineapple, with watercress, teriyaki, and on and on and on......Russ

You can bet I will have some bigger pigs ready for Lechon in 2015 as we are I guess going to Cebu instead of Tacloban which was our normal route thanks to typhoon Yolanda

It's better than it looks  Russ you can have the ears but in this house ya gotta be really quick as you turn around and it's a skeleton

Terry,
Now thats a fine looking pig, all dressed up waiting to be eaten. Look at all that wonderful crispy skin......
Russ

He does look fine, does he not. Delightful dining awaited those who were present, without a doubt.

My niece graduation party and it was a hit ! If I had of eaten any of it I would have probably had a MI event immediately
