I’ve been wondering how well image stabilization binoculars work so decided to try the 12 X 42 Sig Sauer Zulu 6 HDX.
Living in the PNW there isn’t a lot of wide open country or I might have opted for the 16 power

First impressions is these work well as intended to stabilize the image.
They are smaller and lighter than I had thought they would be.
One knock I’ve seen is the location of the focus knob but with my large hands the focus knob sits naturally under my left ring finger when I place the binoculard to my eyes.
Swarovski clear especially toward the edges? No, but the stabilization makes up for the slight lack of image clarity.
Able to use them with one hand so would be great for the hunter on the move.

Made a short video with an old iPhone. Only 720 resolution and then loaded to YouTube so doesn’t do the clarity justice but does give some idea how the image stabilization works.

Looks to be a worthwhile piece of kit. If I was younger, I suspect I'd have to have something like this. Sig is sure making a splash in the optics department.
