Smoked Muley Backstrap

Well the traegar did it again, smoked for a time then turned the heat up and finished to a rare to medium rare. The straps were wrapped in bacon after applying rudys rub. The other meats are marinated chicken breats and lamb brats we made the other night. the venison cooked this way is awesome, I love the traegar. Everything is plain awesome!Sunday Dinner.JPG
Enjoy, my wife thinks i am crazy taking pictures of the food, should have taken one of the backstraps carved up, next time-im hungry must be close to dinner.
 
Hoooo, doggies, that looks good. You done good. If it weren't -17 out right now, I'd light the Traeger. As it is, it'll be elk steaks again this afternoon.
 
Man that looks really good! Makes me hungry just looking. My wife thought I was nuts too when I grabbed the camera to take a picture to put on this silly forum! :oops: :oops:
