I guess the deal sealer for me is, what is it pushing at 2800 fps? IF you can push a 225 grain bullet with high BC at 2800 fps, it is going to carry that load and energy a long way down range. That is the important part and the .338 WM manages it with reasonable recoil as well.
 
I agree. I looked at a lot of different bullets and speeds when the 225 AB was giving me fits. I could drop the 225 down to 2700 and run the 200-210. Gr bullets as fast as I could and at 400 yards the 225 had caught back up because of the .1+ bc difference.

The 225 AB is one heck of a bullet for sure.
