Have a chance to buy an old yellow cardboard box of 170 gr Speer RN. Anyone know anything about these. Just wondering if the will expand on whitetails. My rifle is a 1-10 twist as well.

I have an old Lyman manual that shows the bullet. I think it would work fine on deer.

I’d bet they will expand just fine. After you do your load work put one into jugs. It should tell you right there.
