Doesn't seem like the 44's get enough love around here, so here's another. This was a 210gr Gold Dot loaded over H110 and chronoed right at 1600 fps from the 7.5 in barrel of a Super Blackhawk Hunter 44 Mag. I shot a small 7 point at roughly 40 yards. He was slightly quartering away at the shot. Bullet entered mid ribs and was found under the skin after going through the offside shoulder. Buck weighed around 130 (coastal whitetail). Bullet weighed 204 grains and expanded to a max of .766". Really liked this bullet!

i have a few gold dots in mainly 9mm and 40cal/10mm, but iirc i only have 27cal gold dots for 6.8spc. seem to be a good choice no matter the caliber or cartridge.
