Figured you all would wanna see some pictures to beat out the Summer doldrums!

Awesome, Scotty!! I bet Al had a tough haul with those horns in that country!!
On the other hand, I bet he's half goat after living and working in that environment. LOL

Thanks for the photos!

Great photos Scotty - thanks for sharing them.

Man, I need to get back up into the mountains!

Yeah, I think he does that to taunt me! Ah well, it is good to see him having a good year. The wolves have really set into his Fall elk/deer area so the hunts for elk are tougher than they ever were. The elk and deer are still there, but it wouldn't hurt to kill a bunch of the danged wolves out of there. Just to help out the elk some more.

Good pics! I've been on the Idaho fish and game website quite a bit here lately, if I don't draw tags next year I think I'm Idaho bound! I'm going to start researching two different areas out there within the next month or so.

"OUTSTANDING"

I want to hunt upcanyon from where ever those sheds came from.!!!! Thats a pile, and as I can tell the country is pretty flat their also. Flat but kind of tilted on one side. I miss my old Idaho units but the G&F cut back the hunt numbers again this year. I hunted the same general area for 20 years and was very successful. The numbers don't lie the elk population is very low.

Looks like all the Lodgepole pine tress there are dead from the Pine Beetle as well. Summer has not even started here and we are having fires already!

I think Al said he hit the motherload of elk sheds this spring. Looks like he did ok  A next year spring bear hunt with Al is getting more tempting all the time. I plan on helping rid that area of a few wolves this October!

Those pics of the bears are great!! Hope you and Brian find the latest version of those antlers still riding on top of a couple heads

You and me both!

Scotty, if those pictures don't get my heart pumping and the adrenaline flowing nothing will. Great country in a great state. Thanks for the pick-me-up.
Greg

Theses are wonderful pics Scotty. You have some excellent country & hunting in the USA. Cheers, G
