Today I got out to the range with the Springfield again. I'm getting better with this green-dot Holosun. The 45's are printing well from 3-25 yards. I swapped to a handload I used as long as 40 years ago 200 grain cast LSWC bullets over 5.0 grains of W231 for about 800 fps. Yes, I missed one at 25 yards: View attachment 28664

Very nice shooting Guy. I had two Holosuns installed on my Kimber .38 Super and .45 a couple months ago, it had to have the rear sight knocked out to install a base in the dovetail to be able to adapt the Holosun. I see you still have that rear sights on yours behind the Holosun. I have contacted Kimber before for information and their response was that they cannot machine the top of the slide to install the base since the top of the slide is not thick enough and it will affect the mechanisms under the slide on the Kimbers.
