My friend just purchased one of these and supposed to pick it up today, if it came in, I never heard of them and was wondering if it will be a decent shooter. Anybody here have any experience with them? I tried to search it on the web but didnt come up with any reviews on it. What can he expect from it accuracy wise?

They are the basic savage modle without the accutrigger. All tackdrivers!

For competition in the big box stores, Remington came out with their Model 710 and Savage followed with the Stevens name on their entry level bolt rifle. If you are not concerned with frills, these rifles will get the job done.
I have heard good reports from hunters using both models.
They are a rifle that you should plan on keeping, because resale will probably not be easy, since they start out so inexpensively anyway.

thanks guys, sorry I aint said nothin, just got back from the lease, he got to shoot the rifle this weekend, looks just like a savage, I cant say anything about the accuracy cuz we just sighted it in off the back of the truck with a 20mph crosswind, but he did pick a rabbit off at about 150 yards. He got it just for a screw around rifle thats gonna get abused and it will be great for that, hes not worried about resale, at the rate we shoot that barrel is gonna get shot out in a few years anyways.
