stevens model 200

This is true.... But any savage has that potential. It's like they were made to be versitile

Took the little Stevens out today, it shoots about 1 inch leaning over the roof of the car and 55 grn UMC FMJ ammo. I emptied 30 rounds and now need to wait for my bullets to get here. I ordered 250 50 grn BT's and 100 55 grn BT's. It's a very fun little gun to shoot, muzzle blast is noticably less than a 22-250 and very accurate. Not as fast as I would like, but we'll see how it shoots handloads. It should be very hard on coyotes.

Glass the action and float the barrel and change the trigger with a Rifle Basix and you will have a real tack driver.

I haven't got my Noslers yet, so I grabbed a box of 50 grn Vmax to try until the my 50 & 55 grn BTs show up. I also bought a lee hand press so I don't have to work in the garage in the cold.

You must have a good one. UMC is not the most accurate ammo..... so if it shoots..................wow

I was surprised at the UMC myself. My dad had a 223 we tried UMC thro in about 1993 and it was key holing and shotting 12 MOA. Yet we could shoot 20 gauge hulls at 100 yds with Hornady custom 60 grn ammo with the same gun. That was when I was about 12-14 a few years before I started loading my own.
