Located in the middle of "nowhere" (no offence meant to those living and enjoying the middle of "nowhere") yesterday. Kjergaard Sports (outside of Marshall, Minnesota) has a great selection of rifles, shotguns and handguns. There was a fair supply of various powders (no Varget or RL15, but quite a bit of RL19, RL22, IMR and Hodgdon powders). They also had a good amount of Federal primers. The bullet selection was a tad skinny. The clerk indicated that they are receiving regular deliveries of bullets and powders, though in small amounts each order. It was heartening to see. For those living in SD and/or Iowa, or in southern MN, it might be worth a phone call just to see what is available. Prices were quite decent. In fact, on rifles, there appeared to be some very fine bargains in Savage and Tikka, especially.

Well that was a real welcome suprise! It was good chatting on the phone Mike. I look forward in meeting up for coffee and pie!!

Been there Mike...it is in the middle of nowhere. Nice to know they have primers...may have to do a road trip before too long. Let me know how long you are in Minnesota for. I am traveling this week, but will be back on Friday the 26th.

Leaving for the north and warmer climes in a couple of days, Joel. Can't wait to get back home so I can get up into the mountains for some bear hunting.

That's great to see. Glad folks are starting to get a little selection back into stock.

Enjoyed meeting you face-to-face, Dave. Consequently, the sweet pudding was quite good. Too bad there was no sour cream raisin pie, however. :grin: I can assure you that I'm skipping dinner tonight.

No rush Dr. Mike the oldman called from Hinton and they got 6" more snow last night. On a side note what hi way are you heading home on cause if your on the yellow head you better stop for a Timmy's and a dognut...

Super=7,

Looks as if home is getting pretty fair weather. I'll make certain to avoid Hinton. Unfortunately, I'm heading home via the northern route this time, or I'd for sure give you a heads up. Hey, there are bears awaiting in them thar' hills.

Maybe next time , I figured from the Dakota's you may come up to 16 but hwy 1 is probably quicker.
