When I started hand loading it was to be able to afford to shoot more. Back then I mostly hunted with factory loads. Now I shoot mostly hand loads in my rifles including my ARs. I have found Nosler and Federal Premium ammo to be very accurate and wouldn't feel disadvantaged using it to hunt with.
