Swar. 3x9 rangefinder

Question for you all that have a Swarovski 3x9 rangefinder, I have finally purcharse one I have noticed that the reading numbers & circle are a little lite in color and you have to have your veiw or eyes in the right spot to seem them clearing, its kinda like not having your scope properly set on a rifle, you have to chase the crosshairs. Is it me bing green with a new item or is there a trick. Thanks
