Well surprise got the TGR the other day. Caliber is 300 WSM. The gun is gorgeous, light and very accurate. Love the bolt (kind of skeletonized) and the extractor which reminds me of a Sako. Here are some pictures during break in!

After the break in session here is a "random load" with 180 BT's

I have very high hopes for this one.

I then fired my Ruger #1 in 338.
215 sierras at 3075 fps did this. Group is .7" at 100 yds.

Then I re-verified my load with the 30-378 Accumark. Between last week and this week this load averages out to 3300 fps and 0.7" at 100 yards with the 200 gr accubonds..

Fotis,

Well done my good man!

That TGR is nice, and what a shooter.

Another shooter that upholds the standard for Nosler. Very nice, Fotis. All of those loads are working quite well for you.

Gosh darn Fotis! A 300WSM! Man, that is way out there, I would have NEVER expected that from you. Your right, that TGR is a very awesome set up. It really ran through my head when they were running the NRA sale.

What is your load with the 180 BT? Just wondering as RL19 is really kicking butt in my 300WSM right now. It is shooting 180 BT's and AB's REALLY well. Great shooting buddy. Great rifle. Can't wait to see what it does when it really loosens up. Scotty

Wow! Serious man-card cred for taking a .300 Wizzum as the rifle to take a break from recoil!

Never noticed this before, but the TGR has a very M70esque bolt handle.

Nice shootin' man!

Congrats on a top notch get-er-done rifle, and great shooting with some very capable cartridges. That 200 gr. AB at 3300 fps ought to reach pretty much from sea to shining sea...

Now, do I sense a TGR binge coming on??

Nice shooting. The more I see the TGR the more interesting they get, hopefully a LH version of it comes out. Any comments on how smoothly they feed and how well the extractor grabs the brass?

Like butter!

So far no complaints at all! Very smooth action.

Scottie the 180 BT load was just something I threw together with H4350 just for fun.
It should be right at 2900 fps or so.

Between the 30-378 the 338 win mag and the 416 WBY I was shooting today this felt like a 270 win....

Fotis,
Looks like miles of smiles! 8)
When I want to take a break from recoil I always think of my 300WSM!?
Glad you had a good day.
Scott
