This is the 3rd one for me...Oh well, if you put enough rounds through one...you'll eventually shoot it. Maybe more than once, I shot one of the rods on this one last year, you may notice the bent one.

Terminal performance of a 230 grain XTP at 830 fps...it was a clean kill.

The recovered bullet...its the chunk of lead on the left, I have fired XTP's through everything from glass to wood to wet phone books to car doors, and several deer...this is the first time I've ever seen one come apart.

I found the jacket the other day when I shot it, but I didn't see it today so its not in the pic...I dug the bullet on the right out of the ground just for comparison.

Now that is some terminal results for sure, yes, I would say that is a clean kill.

Was there much of a blood trail?

As well as I recall, I may have a recipe for those. I think my Wife made me eat my last one that I shot a hole thru. :(

 I don't think my wife has thought of that yet...at least I hope not.

She did tell me to go ahead and get another one though...I been checking them out. There was nothing at all wrong with that ProChrono, it worked great, best one I've had so far.

But I have been looking at the PACT's with the "brains" of it separate from the screens...the screens are cheaper to replace.

Not sure yet...but I'll get another one soon.

You shot your computer?

I used a mixture of pyrodex, steel and fuse to put it out of it's missery and send it home.
It's in a much better place now.
I watched from affar as parts of it assended into the heavens.

Darn it, that would have been the icing on the cake.

Multiple replies here:

First, to Ridgerunner, take a look at the Beta Master Chrony - the electronics are all on the bench with you, and it still folds up nice and small, and sets up super easy and quick. I have a PACT professional and a BMC, and the PACT hasn't seen the range since I tested the BMC with it after I won the BMC! I can't bear to part with the PACT, though I haven't had it out of the case for over three years now. I'd look at the Master Chronys, because you can replace the skyscreen section pretty cheap on those, too.

To Woodycreek - Nothing beats a big beaver dam, some plastics, and a whole lot of detcord to set it off. Looks like something rising out of the water when the det cord goes, then there sure is when the dam goes!

I've wasted two of them over the years. One received only some media through the electronics. It was enough to "kill" it. The other was a clean hit. I, or friends borrowing my beta model chrony, have shot the ears off on three other occasions. Consequently, I now keep an extra Chrony in my kit whenever I go to the range. Things happen.
