The good old 7mm's

Have you started the 284 Winchester yet?

Nope. I'm focused on some other projects at the moment. I need a safe and I picked up another lever gun. I need to pay for them. I have to generate some more cash to pay for the rifles that will shortly be turned out of the shop (9.3X64 and 338 Federal). I've been dipping into my reserve to pay for components that are coming in. I suspect that if this becomes a project, it will be this coming winter or next spring before it happens.

Me thinks that the pain in my leg is from the stretching that its getting from reading your post.??????

You have not done what??????????????

Nope, Bill. I never coaxed anyone. Sorry about the leg. Take two aspirin, go to bed and call me in the morning.

Well said, Jim. Well said, indeed.

Yeah but I do feel bad jumping on Scotty's back all the time or throwing something shiny in front of him. Cause everyone here does a damn fine job of that!! But I guess what comes around goes around and I'm sure that he gives his fair share. Especially when we put our "wanted/needs list" on here he will gladly help out. I'm just waiting for that to come back around.

Don't feel bad for me mates! I am in backpack elk hunt mode right now. Trying assemble some items to make this hunt in Idaho the best one yet. I love to spike out and I think being mobile this year could result in some good hunting. Can't wait to get home and get the data cards built for my couple of rifles making the trip. I am searching for my backpacking tent right now. I have the rest of the gear, although, I might get a couple pairs of pants....

Hey Scotty, I know exactly how you feel :)
My hunting partner of more than 35 years always tells me that he has my back  but ever time I look it is about a block back
A few years ago while on a ice fishing trip my nephew and my 2 boys decided they were going to tune me in so the match started I held my own with 2 of them but when my oldest boy who is 6'5" join in I started yelling I needed help  so my so called friend jumped on the pile with me being on the bottom  When I started to recover I asked him about him having my back and he advised he always picks the winner

Blessings,
Dan

Our friends must run in the same circles!

Now, Scotty, it seems all your friends are pretty good to you. Well, there may be a couple of dogs in the group. However, they treat you pretty decent. Now, Dan, well it sounds as if his hunting partner is somewhat more pragmatic than others.

Without a doubt, but there are some pranksters in the group! That is for certain!

Pranksters? Amongst your friends? Why, I'm shocked! Shocked, I say, that pranksters might lurk among those identified as your friends!
