Today I literally hit every gun shop in Tucson looking for some 225 gr. Accubonds for my .35 Whelen. Finally, the last place I called said they had two boxes and I hit the road and brought them home. It was also from the highest priced shop in town. :( Seems like nobody wants to carry .35 caliber bullets or was it just I picked the wrong time of year to try and find them.
I already have a great load using the 225 gr. Barnes TSX but with all the praise I keep hearing about the AB's, well I just have to give them a try.
Now I'm off to the reloading shed. Tomorrow, weather permitting I'll see how they shoot.

Not to rub it in, but I know of at least 4-5 shops in phoenix that keep them on the shelf. The Cabelas out in Glendale even has 35 Whelen brass on the wall to boot.

My problem is I get lost every time I go up that way. If I get off I-10, I'm screwed. :(

I think your load work will be short Paul. Chances are you won't take too much time to find a good load! They are REALLY accurate in my CDL.

Yes sir... It is the only one I really won't get rid of. Great rifle.
