.338-378 ?

Classic .300 Wby Mag?

You're not down to your last Wby option... Not yet!

Fotis

after you choose the perfect 340 and add it to your collection, you will only have four to go

in what order will you look for them

224, 300, 338-378, 375

I can see why the 224 is not on your radar, but the other three are good calibers, especially the 300 and 338-378

IF, I had them all but the 224, I would probably get it just so I could have them all, but I understand your not wanting that one

Well I am thinking about the utility of the collection also.

224.... last one I saw cost 3K plus I have a swift
300.... why? I have a 30-378 it will never get used
338-378.....I always liked the 340 better also they only make it in the accumark which I have
375 ...... why I have a 378 it will never get used

We have 5 bee's but a slightly different line up than you have Fotis and we also will never own a 224
of the 240, 257, 300, 340, 460. we use the 257 and 340 by far the most. The 300 some, and the 240 very little with the 460 getting the least amount of attention, almost none and will probably get sold or traded.

AFTER, you get the 340, which ones in your collection do you feel will see the most use in the field ?

honestly?

340 for elk most of the time

240/257/270 for antelope
7mm for deer unless a lot of climbing is involved then the ultra light 270 bee will get the nod.

And the 460 for everything else.....lol

Would not take much to build a 340 Classicmark or Lazermark as the last 1 has been running thru my mind using an Accumark action and barrel ! Just slap it in a new stock
