That is a good looking stick of wood. I was wondering why the smith would leave the striper clip guide on a custom rifle? most I've seen have been milled off.
Must have been anticipating the need for a fast reload. :grin:

Oh yeah. I like that ALOT! The price isn't all that crazy either. Rifle looks to be really well built with some great wood on it!

So, when are you picking it up? That is right next to some of my favorite elk hunting area.. If you need someone to test it out on those poor Oregon elk, I could be of some help! HA!

I thought that was very cool, leaving the stripper clip guide intact... I've used the one on my .30-06 a few times when I had it set up with just sights, no scope to get in the way.
