Opened a bottle of titegroup today to try some subsonic loads in 308 as a replacement for TrailBoss. Took 12 rounds out to the range and it shot well at 50 yards.

Came back in to load some more and found the powder stuck to the sides of the clear plastic hopper on my RCBS measure. Even dawn soap couldn't make it clear again.

The powder was in the hopper for about 2 hours and was new product i just bought and the store just got in.

Does this powder always suck like this? Of do I have a bad batch? Any solutions for preventing this issue? It's not static, it's melting to the plastic.

Powder does frequently adhere to plastic through electrostatic action. Not at all unusual. A nylon bristle brush is often required to sweep the propellant from the sides of the hopper.

This powder isn't behaving like other powders. I had to scrub the granules off and it left a dark stain on the plastic.

Powder can also electrostatically stick to a plastic funnel too. A quick swipe with a antistatic dryer sheet will fix the problem. I've never experienced what you are seeing.

Funny that this is happening to you since I use a lot of Tite group powder for loading 45acp and have never experienced what you're saying.
I load on Dillon reloading presses and though I see some static cling every now and then I have never had it melt my powder hopper.
Bullseye powder is the worst to stain and turn your hopper yellow do to the high levels of glycerin and nitrocellulose.
There is a Pyrex glass replacement hopper that won't yellow from the chemicals in the powders.
All powder manufactures warn not to store powder in powder measures with plastic hoppers due to the chemicals in the powder can react to the plastic like a solvent and actually melt it.
It's a pain to empty the hopper after reloading a few rounds but it is advisable to do so.
