Tract Optics

Tract Optics has what seem to be a well-made and well priced option to the usual brands of rifle scopes. I have been using Swarovski, Schmidt & Bender, Leupold scopes, but on my latest rifle I thought I;d try the Tract Toric Ultra HD 3-15X42. Don't know if the highest zoom (15X) will be usable as the eye relief changes a bit... I'll have to fool with the parallax settings to work this out.

Any of you using the Tract products? Opinions?

I have a buddy in OR that has one and is using it to bust rocks at 2 miles.

Never heard anything bad and I know a lot of people (who know their stuff) who use them.

I have a Toric 2-10x42 UHD and I think it's a pretty darned good scope.

I have not heard of anyone having to send a broken scope back to Tract, but I can tell you that when I ordered my Toric on New Year's Eve several years ago, I was having problems placing the order on-line. Jon LaCorte himself contacted me within minutes of submitting a support request and completed the order for me, all within a span of about half an hour. I can't imagine more dedication to customer service than that.
