Tree stand security

Rode to the cabin to do some scouting for spring gobbler. Though I check on a few tree stands while I was there..needless to say I about had a heart attack when I came up to my buddy’s-son’s stand…I soon figured out it was just some jeans, shoes and pvc pipe..I guess from a distance you’d think someone was climbing in

I can see why your alarm bells would be going off. Holy cow. Even looking at the picture knowing what you said it was, it looks like a person laying in there. Maybe I'm slow.........was there another idea behind that other than the joke it played on you?

I think he’s just being an 18 y/o seeing who he can get one over on…or maybe somebody approaching would think someone was climbing in and go the other way.
