I was able to shoot last night.

Rifle #1 AR 15 in .223 I just put a 1-4 Primary Arms scope on this rifle. My goal is to make it a 100 coyote rifle for night hunting in WI. This is the first time I have ever shot it for groups. I had it as a fun/plinking rifle with a red dot but decided to add a scope and see what I could do.

55 BT Varmageddon bullets with H355 powder

4 shot groups

24.1=.785"
24.4=2.03"
24.7=1.538"
25.0=2.743"
25.5=3.196"

I was happy to see a group under 1" I will make up more of those and retry them. I might make this a yote gun after all.

Rifle #2 22-250

55 Vmax with IMR 4064
3 shot groups

35.1=1.482"
35.4=2.025"
35.7=.595"
36.0=.854"
36.3=.390"

Looking at the last few range trips, I am seeing this rifle likes the stiffer loads.

Rifle #3 AR15 6.5 Grendel

123 Amax with H355 powder

24.5=.773"
25.0=.461"
25.5=.765"
26.0=.716"

So far I have used XBR and H355 with 123 Amax bullets and am able to keep almost every load under 1" This is a fun rifle to shoot and reload for. It makes it even better that I put the rifle together!!!

Certainly looks as if you are headed in the right direction. There are some fine loads represented there.

That is awesome!! That 6.5 looks pretty special as does that 22-250. In my AR I'm running 21.5 of IMR-4198 and a 55 BT and it will shoot .5" groups if I do my part with a very similar setup as yours for a very similar purpose.

It does look like everything is working well. Give Varget or Benchmark a try if the groups don't tighten up with H-355.

What kind of speeds are you getting with the 6.5 Grendel? I have always been interested in that round.
