I just inspected a box of Trophy Grade 6.5 Creedmoor 140 gr. AccuBond. The base-to-ogive seating depth variance for the 20 rounds is 0.016".
Is that seating depth variance considered within standard for Nosler premium ammunition?
Update 02/23/2020 -
Just finished testing factory ammunition from both Hornady and Black Hills that use the 143 gr. ELD-X. Both offerings have a base-to-ogive seating depth variance of 0.003". Very consistent 5-shot groups.
Come on Nosler, time to up your game.
