Well, I printed some respectable loads today at 500 and 600 yards.

Either my chrono is off by about 50fps or both ballistics programs I ran are off. I consistently hit 0.7moa high at 400, 500 and 600 yards today. I corrected with a velocity of 3100fps and things look a little more like what I was seeing in the field. Next trip I will do some fine tuning.

We found a 12" doa steel gong in the brush and set it up at 650 and had a fun time hitting it. I let a kid on the next bench over shoot the gong and some milk jugs at 400, he is hooked. Fun stuff.

Those look like respectable loads at 500 and 600 yards. How was wind for you? I see you noted it was "Still," but in WY, that has a different meaning sometimes.

It was around 3mph from my back so it really was no concern today.....ya, Wyoming still is anything that won't blow you over. :)

AC Great shooting there. I would double check your velocity with either another chrony or just yours again. Also what porgram are you using? IMO if you know your actual velocity its usually the BC that needs a little adjusting to make things perfect. Published BC can be inflated a bit or measured by the manufacter at a certain velocity which may not be what you are getting. What scope and turret setup are you using?

Thanks, others have suggested that as well. I am going to have two chrono's set back to back next trip and see what that tells me.

The scope is a Vortex Viper 4-12x40 PA with the stock turrets zeroed at 200yd. For software I did a printout with the Vortex LRBC software, JMB and using Shooter on my phone. So far the Shooter program on my phone has been the closest. I am consistently high at 400, 500 and 600 yards. I recorded my adjustments at those yardages and am trying to get the software to duplicate what I am observing in the field. Thanks for the input.
