Good job Kelsey and welcome to the 35 Whelen family. I can tell by the smile on your dad's face that he is one proud Papa :wink:. This is a great memory that will never be taken away from the both of you. Thank you both for the post and photos, I am sure that your freezer is going to be pretty close to full with Venison this winter.

The boots are Cabelas 15" Zippered type, comes in 400 gram or 800 thinsulate, Gore Tex and Scent Lok. They are incredible boots and are in the Bargin Cave at Cabelas right now for 119.00 the lowest I have ever seen them on sale. Wore them Elk Hunting in snow this year in Colorado and was impressed. Going to get another pair soon. I wear them exclusively Whitetail Hunting.

Having the birds eye view when she shot was amazing. I mean I witnessed that buck go about 2-ft sideways, flip upside down in the air and slam to the ground, just dead!! :shock:
The Whelen does it with authority. I like the 225 Accubonds but think I will stay with the Partitions now. :mrgreen:
