Well I finally put the smack on a whitetail today. Went on a doe hunt with two very good friends for some meat for the freezer. I shot a very old doe at 80 yards and dropped her in her tracks. My first game with one of my handloads and my first game with my new to me .280remington :grin:
The 160 grain AccuBond really did the trick on the doe. Wish I could have recovered the bullet to check for expansion and weight.
Did call in a nice 3 1/2 year old 10 pointer the other night. I could not get turned on him since I had deer to my left and he came in on my right. He got to withing 11 yards
