When I was snowmobiling near North Bay, Ontario, I saw this tower blind. I had seen it in prior years but I don't think it was as high nor build using scaffolding. I think it was rebuilt since last year. I had never seen scaffolding used as a tower stand before. It looks like a great idea to me. Below is a link to supplier that makes a number of scaffolding kits. The one that I like is the 20 ft. Non-Rolling Scaffold Tower. It comes complete with a deck and safty rails. A set of leveling feet would make it versitile. I am seriously thinking of buying one to use to paint the barn in the spring and then use it for a hunting stand in the fall. I would use cables going out to anchors so it wouldn't blow over.

Has anyone else seen scaffolding used as a tower stand before? What do you guys think?

They use towers just like that is Europe for permanent deer stands on fields that are large enough. They have been using them for many years with success. It should work here?
