Valdada Scopes

Looks interesting.
I have Meopta binos, the glass is excellent!
I did a side by side comparison with a pair of Swaro's, bought the Meopta's and saved $600 bucks.

They have been around since 1937 and are made in Bucharest, Rumania. They are familiar to me as IOR scopes and binoculars. I have seen them for sale all over West Germany, all through the 1980-1990's. IOR started modernizing by collaborating with Jena (Zeiss) East Germany, which was the original Zeiss factory before WWII, during 1975 and beyond. I would call them equivalent to Minox and older Conquest scopes and binoculars. I have personally never used them.
