Vihtavouri N160

I picked up a couple 8# jugs of VV N160 at my LGS but have never loaded with it before. Anyone using this powder and what is your opinion? I will be loading 30/06 180 gr, 7mm Wea Mag 160 gr, 6.5x55 140 gr, 270 Win 130 gr, 8x57 200 gr, 243 Win 95-100 gr

I have used it with 180's in the 06, and they did well. It will certainly work for the rest, however in my liking, a tad fast for all of the rest minus the 8 mm. In which the 160 would be a tad slow. But that not saying the 160 wouldn't perform well enough in all.

I use a considerable amount of VihtaVuori powders. N160 is a very useful powders in most of the cartridges you list. It works very well in most cartridges built off the 30-06 or cases with similar volumes, as it does in most cases built off the 308 case. Here are a few examples:

Cartridge : .243 Win.
Bullet : .243, 90, Nosler E-Tip 59165
Useable Case Capaci: 48.065 grain H2O = 3.121 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 2.710 inch = 68.83 mm
Barrel Length : 22.0 inch = 558.8 mm
