The warden was fortunate enough to draw 1 of 2 juvenile ram permits. Shot was 268 yard. Played with these for 3 hours before he cleared for a shot and man did she make it count. 6.5-300 weatherby 140 nosler AccuBond. I thought she hit high in video but nope I was wrong. shot was a tad back but angle was right, exited through boiler room. Didn’t drop on the shot, took it like a champ. he moved down the mountain where she tried to shoot again but missed, which in turned pushed him over a ridge. We regrouped hiked to a better vantage point and found him through the spotting scope. Pics through the phone cam using a swarovski scope. Hope you All enjoy.

I thought so! I've been up there chasing birds this season, and getting a few bighorn photos too. Love hanging out on Chelan Butte even if I'm not hunting. Sure are a lot of bighorns there now. I keep applying for the ram and ewe tags.
