A 700 is definitely a proven way to go. I have a few, and will likely get more. But I really like the two Howa/Vanguards I have, and Howa is not going through the QA/QC problems Remington is right now. The 700 will likely end up lighter as well. I have no experience with WSMs in 700s (M70 CRF, M70 PF, and a Howa 1500) but I've read about problems getting them to feed. Might have to pick one up to give it a try. I know I can't get a .240 Weatherby in a 700 from the factory.
