Weaver bases and rings?

Has anyone actually ever removed the scope and re-installed it to check zero on these?
I know some brands come really close but so do not. Thank you!

Haven't tried with Weavers Fotis, but I do take the scope off of my Guide Rifle with the Rail and Leupold QRW rings pretty often and it maintains zero. Pretty dependable set up. Scotty

Yes. Have them on my AR-15. It's pretty close.

an experience but it was with a picitinny base
had my rifle rechambered, when I put the leupold back on, I centered the erector tube, locked the rings on the base, went down 20 moa to make up for the canted base, went back up 1.5 moathen went up 4 for a 500 yard zero, and fired.
POI was within 2" at 500 yards.
