The Garand is a good shooter.
Got to the range yesterday with Creedmore in tow.
Did the barrel break in while I was getting the rifle sighted POA at 100 yards.
Creed starts giggling looking at my target through his scope.



Seems to like 168 Custom Comps on top of 46.8 grs of BLC2
3 shots off the bags at 100 yards.



After that I gave her 2 clicks of elevation, used a 6 o'clock hold and put 7 out of eight in that 4 inch target.

They are pretty danged solid rifles. Sounds like yours thinks it's a 22-250!

Well, it damn sure don't recoil like a 22-250 .

Yeah, I've got a pile of 155/165/168 match bullets at the house.
Can't wait to shoot her again.

I think it's cool using military rifles for hunting. I'll have to get me a Tartans and do some hunting with it.

That's awesome! Had a chance to shoot a "Bring back" Army issue M1 that had seen action all through Europe during WWII. Very cool rifles.
