What bullet would you use?

If you were going to hunt Whitetails with a .325 WSM, what bullet would you choose?

Note: the whitetails here are often well over 200 lbs. on the hoof. Dressed weights of deer killed in camp are typically from 130-200lbs. There is also a possibility of having a black bear walk by the tree stand. These range in weight from 150-300+ dressed.

Just looking for your eggspurt opinion! All are welcome.

I would use the 180gr BT, or something similar, just as fast as I could launch it. Heavy bullets at low velocities don't expand very well on white tails.

I used my 325WSM the first year I got it for whitetail here in Nebraska. I didn't have much time to develope a load so I settled on a light load almost shooting 8x57 ballistics. I don't have the actual chrony records on me right now, but I used Remington 185gr Corlokts and H4895 powder. They shot very well.
Opening morning I shot 1 small doe in some taller grass. By the time the recoil settled I thought I missed as the deer was gone. Going up to investigate the shot, there she was DOA!
A little while later a big doe came from behind and I drilled her through the shoulders. Dropped right there and expired quickly.
A few hours later from a tree stand shot a big bodied 8pt buck high in the shoulder. He went a few yards and died under a tree a few yards from me. That bullet didn't exit and i was able to recover it on the opposite hide. ETA: Looked back at another post the day i shot them. The bullet weighed 126gr after recovery.
To me this load was perfect for whitetail deer and wouldn't hesitate to use it again.

I agree, the 180 gr BT would work great for WT deer or Black Bear.

Great guys, thanks. I was thinking of using the 200 grain AccuBond as well. Do you think it will open up well? I typically shoot shoulders, not ribs. I don't like having to follow blood trails unless I am using a bow.

The 200gr AB would be a great all round bullet if you ever expected to use the same load for elk, moose ect. But for just deer, I'd stick with the lighter BT.

The 200 gr AB will open up just fine on WT.
