Offhand I would say a Remington 660 because of the dog leg bolt handle though I am not sure that those had the 6 forward locking lugs. That to me suggests early Browning but I have yet to encounter a Browning with the Dog Leg bolt like this one...

Anyone else?

I don't know the make all that's on the receiver is sn#.barrel has 6mm REM mag on left side and on bottom eh5/83

I believe what you have is a Mossberg 800. Appears to be a rebarreled one, as I think the 800a was a 308Win, and the 800b was a 243Win, and the 800c was 22-250, from the factory. You might be able to get a stock cut by Boyd's, Richard's, or Stocky's, but I'm not sure. See corrborating pictures here:

Also, these were marketed as Western Field M780's at Montgomery Wards, back when one could buy firearms at Sears, MW, and other department store retailers.

Not sure what parts they have available, but it appears they may have some. Even show that at one time a 350RemMag barrel was available for these?

Interesting piece, for sure. I knew I'd seen that safety on a Western Field a while back. Just took a little searching to find the Mossberg 800 connection.

It is a mossberg 800 found a good pic o one.the safety cap has tomuch play it will fire on safe.safety cap attaches to the bolt and will move up when u pull the trigger and will fire

That was my first rifle

had the same safety problem.

and the floorplate would fling out and empty the mag box ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!

I hated that rifle...........

killed one deer with it: 50 yards, aimed at his neck, hit him in the ass!!!!!
Bought a M70 and never looked back!

Looks like you might be able to order the parts from Numrich. See the link above. They list a bunch of safety parts, and a complete bolt. Not sure if they have them in stock, as I don't have a Gander Mountain account to log into to allow me to add things to my cart, but you could easily check.
