Developed a couple of loads that work quite well on both feral hogs and whitetail out to as far as I want to shoot them (+/- 500 yards): 85 gr Partition running along at 3275 fps and the 90 gr AB running at 3225 fps. Out to 250 yards, POI is nearly the same, within 3/4" of each other.
Below is a 4-shot group I did with the 90 gr AB's using IMR 4350. Target was at 500 yards. That's a business card I'm holding up next to it. :
Note the first shot penetrated the 3/8" AR500 steel at that range. :shock:
