WHEN IT ALL COMES TOGETHER!!!

You know if we had prairie dogs here I think I would try it just to see if I could hit the little dog, of course it would be hard to tell if I really did hit him because I would more than likely destroy the mound as well.

We all have to get lucky once in a while and find the "right" load early on.......

Bob, I intent on doing just that and that has been on my mind because we got some for sure.

I thought my .375Wby felt lighter than my 300Wby and was easy to get up to the shoulder and on target from a standing position. So I weighed myself on the scales and I weighed 226.2 and then I did it again with the rifle in my hands and I weighed 234.8. So my rig weighs 8.6 pounds. Not bad at all and this will make it even easier on my long hunts in the mountains plus the fact that it is so well balanced. I new it felt lighter than my 300Wby custom. The B&C Metalist stock really makes a difference and the 300Wby has a McMillan fibermark type stock on it which is heavier. Might just change the 300Wby to a B&C Metalist stock also.

Did that B&C stock fit perfect or did you have to fit it?? I know they make some of the Weatherby stuff anyway, most of it with the integral aluminum bedding.

This had the metal insert and yes I had my smith really tweak the fit.
