the past few Days, maybe a week has been crazy windy here , the ole March winds . the weather has been saying gusts about 40 - 70 MPH . we went walking yesterday and I could not have heard a turkey if it was more than 10 yards away , the wind was so strong .

Snowing and blowing pretty good out there this morning. This is by far the largest storm for Central WI ever. Wausau which is a little east of me where our weather forecast comes from , is over 30”. This storm beats the previous by quite a bit.
we've been upper 70's and low 80's for about a week now . this mornings walk it was spitting snow .
caught this guy out sunning himself yesterday in the 80-85* temps .I'd say it's about 6 ft long . I think it's a black snake , I don't know snakes , I don't like any of them . it was hot enough I had the A/C running in the truck .
today at 35* I caught a flock of turkey in amongst the logging equipment . as near as I could tell 12 birds total , 4 long beards . the pic isn't great, I'm guessing it's about 80 yards away . only a couple birds hung around long enough to get a couple pics . the birds are very visible now , we see them just about everyday while walking .
