That 6.5-280AI has my attention for a possible build. Do the cream of wheat fireforming and you can fireform cases in the backyard like I do.

Boy Brian that .243 sure cleans up nice! :mrgreen: Never seen a change like that. From Rosie O'Donnell to Kim Kardashian with just a little shoulder and neck work. That 243 AI is pretty darn sweet looking. And talk about shoot! Wow.

It's been a fun one to play with. I think every reloader should have an AI of some type. A good gunsmith and an AI reamer is all you need for the rifle. Get some dies and you can gain alot over the parent cartridge. My 243AI still shoots 243 Win just as good now as it did when it was a 243 Win. So you can always shoot the parent cartridge if need be.

The Benchmark on my STW has sure been easier to get to shoot than the Pac Nor on my 270 WSM, but my 280 AI does really well and it is a Pac Nor :roll: I think both are great.

Been eyeballing that one on Pac Nor's site. I can see my 270 turning into that 6.5-280AI.

I've got a P&H Jana mauser .270 Win. (I shudder) that I've been wondering what to do with... I'm leaning toward the .280AI now... but whatever caliber I choose... it'll have a pipe just like that one.

That is VERY nice CH! What a build. 3060 with the 140's is cooking too. Doesn't give up much to the Win Mag at all.

Although, if Brian were to have it, I would never let him forget about the extra 120FPS... :twisted:

That is very nice though. I would have done a 264WSM had I been a thinking dog, but the 264 got the better of me this time...
