Why do I keep lusting after one of these things? I've never even seen one in person, or much less shot one, yet I keep wanting one even though I have a really accurate Tikka T3 in the same caliber.

It is a disease that seems to attack individuals here quite ofter in the last 18 months I have been struck by it twice :shock: my first cure was the 280AI and just recently had a relapse and found the cure in the 270WSM. Lol

Fixing to order it. What bases are you guys using? I'm thinking of going Leupold duel dovetail (50042) w/ Burris Signature rings. Love the inserts in those rings.

I've got Warne Maximas on mine- just prefer vertical split rings....for absolutely no good reason.

TPS rings because they are dead accurately machined and very strong.
