Wife got a new rifle

Very nice and as several have already said she shoots it very well, congratulations.

It was kinda cute. She was used to punching the bull almost continuously while working on her shooting form. She thinks load workup is for the birds since you don't always hit the bullseye. I was trying to explain why that happens and she was having none of it. She just told me to load lots of the practice loads. Oh, I will. Lots of 55s over 25gns of Varget...

I think it might be time to "build" her another rifle. My goal is to get her comfortable with a 260 or 7-08.

That is some excellent shooting on her part and a great load. A second rifle in 260 or 7mm-08 sounds like a good plan, I'm a big fan of any of the smaller 6.5's in particular they are quite versatile and don't kick much at all.

You did a great job with the rifle and from the looks of her shooting she is enjoying shooting it.

I've run into a couple of guys who felt that way. They just could not come to grips with load developtment, and not hitting the bullseye. One of them got really nasty about it when I asked him how he knew he was sighted in, seeing as his sight in shots covered the entire target with none really close to the bulls eye.

You might want to look at this trigger. It really interests me and cost around $90. bucks. Too bad they don't offer a LH version cause I would buy one.
