I installed the Trigger Happy Kit in my Marlin 1895MXLR last night. The trigger pull was reduced from 4-1/2 to 5 lbs down to 2 to 2-1/2 lbs. (Almost too light for me). The Trigger Happy Kit is a great upgrade for the rifle. I highly recommend it.

I have heard people speak highly of that trigger. I'll be interested in your assessment after you have time to use the rifle.

I have used several on different marlins. It is a very nice drop in option. I used one on that marlin 39a I recently sold and dropped it from 8-9 pounds a nice crisp 3-4

That will most likely be the next upgrade for my 1985 Guide gun. The OE trigger is decent so I haven't done the upgrade yet.

I put one in my Marlin 1895 SBL about 2 years ago. Easy to install and a significant improvement from day one.
My 1895 in 45-70 regularly shoots under and inch at 100yds and has shot 2" groups at 300yds. The Happy trigger certainly played a big part in shooting those groups.

Those big bore Marlins can be remarkably accurate. More than accurate enough to embarrass some bolt action rifle shooters!

I really like mine, and it really did improve the trigger. I haven't shot it much, so I can't comment on accuracy.

I put the Happy trigger in at the same time I installed the Bear Proof ejector. The trigger was a big improvement and the ejector was for peace of mind in my bear rifle. Im not sure that there is anything wrong with the original Marlin ejector but it seemed to make sense to replace both components at the same time.
I was intending to bring the Marlin along as a back-up rifle for my Newfoundland moose hunt but it shoots a 425gr PileDriver bullet so well at 300yds that it probably should be the primary rifle.

Yeah buddy! I put the Happy Trigger in mine as well. Excellent addition. Need to put one in my 444 as well. The trigger on my 35 Rem is pretty good as is.
