It's nice to have a day like that at the range! Not that I am intimately familiar with such experiences, but I am vaguely familiar with the territory.

So...did you also do something to address the rocking rest, or has it turned out to be a non-issue?

I think so. Turned out it was the elevation screw was just loose enough to cause trouble Easy fix. May have been part of the reason I had such good fortune shooting yesterday.
