What's the deal with Wyoming begging for hunters to shoot goats?

If you have mild winters, then antelope breed like rabbits.
So, I'm thinking they have an over abundance of antelope the past couple of years.

Maybe it's time to apply. Last few years it's been tough for is to draw tags. My wife really wants to hunt speed goats. She's also wanting to try some excellent Cheyenne Greek cuisine.

Those are goat goats, not antelope. Apparently they're feral goat and are a problems in the sheep ranges. I saw that a couple of days ago and te picture shown did not look like Mountain Goats but I could be wrong.

These appear to be mountain goats. They are threatening the Rocky Mountain sheep in the Grand Tetons.
