Generally speaking for 250-170 gr bullets. Loads would be appreciated.

Fotis, I don't have a 375 H&H, but my friend does, and he does really well with RL-15 and the 270 Fail Safe.

My 375R really likes Big Game, and IMR 4895. I know its not a H&H, but they are not far apart.

That is the range I was looking at. H380 Win 760 H414 ......
A friend here in Cheyenne inherited a 375 and I am looking at powders to steer him (me actually) to buy the best one for loading it.

I tried H380, and H414 in my 375R, but it didn't like them.

I think most people are going to suggest RL-15.

My 375 H&H load is right out of the Barnes manual. A 270 grain TSX over a max load of H 4895.
Works for me.

Fotis, I never shot anything but the 235gr speers so not sure if this would help but I only used IMR4895.

Blessings,
Dan

Like some of the others mine is a 375 Ruger, I would look at Big Game or one of the 4350's. I bet almost any medium burning powder should work well in it.

Funnily enough, Fotis, I've never loaded for the 375 H&H. I have, however, loaded on several occasions for the 375 Ruger. My "go to" powder in that cartridge is turning out to be IMR 4007 SSC. It gives good velocity with great accuracy.

My most accurate load has been the 260 gr AccuBond, over 69 grains of RL-15 for 2620 fps. That's a minimum load according to Nosler, and it shoots real well. It's what I used on the black bear at 306 yards a couple of years ago. Got the load from John Barsness. More powder will of course make more velocity, it doesn't have to stay at that 2600 fps level. I just like it there.

For the 300's, I turn to 75 grains of H4350, again a load suggested by Barsness. It produces about 2550 fps with good accuracy.

Am using the Federal 215 magnum primers.

Hamour - I shot some 300 gr Sierras a buddy loaded over IMR 4064. Excellent accuracy and very low SD & ES figures. That was my "rockchuck load" last summer when I came across a varmint shooting opportunity and only had my .375 with me!

Fotis,

Good luck with the load development.
Is Chris going to hunt with it this year?

The 375 H&H is not finicky with powders. I haven't loaded for mine in a few years but I used Win 760 the last I loaded for it.
