Your best looking rifles?

I do like my Winchesters, Charlie. I'm prejudice; I think they are all good looking.

That is gorgeous Jim!

Scottie you forgot your 35 rem Marlin! Much better than your 338 IMO.

I can't say it is better, but your right, I did forget it!

It did slip through with a decent enough set of stocks on it..

My lowly .22 rimfire is the prettiest of all, but a certain amount of prejudice enters the picture and I think my 700 Classic in .223 is a looker and so is my 70 Classic in .25-06.

But this one, well...

Nice rifles guys. I don't have anything with particularly remarkable wood, or any fancy metal finishes.

Thanks for the look at yours!

Plywood stocked Model 70 looks decent, if a little cumbersome as a hunting rifle:

.270 Winchester, killed a lot of animals.
The rifle now wears a new Burris Signature Select 3-10X40

Very handsome 270. I do like that dark finish. There is some delightful character in the wood.

DrMike, nice fwts. Love the wood. Lots of nice rifles here...

Here's mine. Not an expensive custom rifle, but still my favorite - most shot - most fun...

BeeTee,

The Featherweights are a thing of beauty in my estimate. Other rifles can be quite lovely, and I do enjoy handling them, but I get genuinely excited about the Featherweights. Consequently, your image failed to display. I'm looking for that FWT of yours.

Nope, not yet buddy...

Should show now.... While at the range the other day, a fellow (shooting a nice M70-270), came over and asked about this rifle. He thought it was a custom, and complimented the look. I thanked him, and said it was a 20-year old Remington VS with a newer Remington factory laminated varmint stock. I do like the honey-colored laminations. BT

Got it, see it now.

Yeah, I am a big fan of the laminates myself. My two top shooters are both in laminate stocks..

Laminates can be quite handsome, and yours is very attractive, BeeTee. Here are a couple of the laminates that have insinuated themselves into my gun safes.

Remington .280

Remington .350 RM

My finnwolf 308 is not too shabby either

Your Finnwolf is a classic, Fotis. Anyone would be pleased to hold that one.

G'Day Fella's,

Dr Mike, I do have a few favorites but these couple are pretty special to me.
Please ignore the Pug Ugly .340 Wby the other two are the apples of my eye!
They are a Ruger M77 MkII in .375 H&H with a stunning Turkish Circassion walnut stock and my custom built .404 Jeffery.

By the way fella's, thank you for posting the images of these, it's always a pleasure to see other blokes favorites!!!

Doh!

Homer,

Ugly (like beauty) is in the eye of the beholder. I've seen some truly ugly rifles that were treasured by those who owned them (I have a couple of my own). These rifles never let the owner down, and just kept on doing what a good rifle should, which is deliver a projectile on target without fail. Personally, I appreciate fine wood with good fit and finish for the entire piece. I have a few Rugers that are pretty special. I even have a few Remingtons that, though I don't display them very often, they work quite well.
