Your best looking rifles?

Very nice, Rob. I love looking at rifles--all rifles.

Same here! That 264 Win Mag is super sharp though.

I like that 300SAUM a bunch as well. Looks like a truly well built hard hunting rifle. Nice bunch!

Time for another M70.

Pre-war (1938 mfg date) 300H&H. The stock is not original, but was refinished nicely and is light years better than the one it came in originally.

My 264 supposedly shipped today, so hopefully I can post up some pics of that when I get it. I posted it here before, but this is a pic from the auction listing:

Sweet rifles, Tom. It will be great to see the .264 when it arrives. Man, I'm excited and it isn't even coming this far north!

Glad that person who sold you the .264, finally came to his senses! Maybe he had heat stroke or something until today? Looking forward to seeing the Super Grade, Tom! In the meantime, that .300 H&H surely looks nice now with that stock on it.

Killdeernow, nice rifles! Even the Mossberg has a nice figure to the wood. Partial to the wood in the .264 Mag but the others are nice rifles also.

Killdeernow thet Nosler 264 WM is gorgeous, done any loading for it yet?
Tom, your 264 is fantastic looking as well, looking forward to seeing how it shoots for you.

Your kind words mean a lot, especially from an experienced set of gun connoisseurs.

As for the 264:

It is brand new; I just received it two weeks ago from Nosler. It was a pleasure doing business w/Nosler; more so with Shawn Finley. I will be doing business w/them again as I’m looking at a 260 Rem or 257 Roberts custom in the future. They just got themselves a repeat customer!
I will do a professional write-up on the 264 when I get glass on it and a few rounds through it. It is simply a true piece of art. I guess when you honor the person that built the company, you are going to get one heck of a product.

I have not reloaded for it yet; I have 25 or so pounds of different powders on backorder. I also have a few boxes of the 130 TG on backorder. I have a 3.5-15x50 NightForce w/the MOAR backordered. Everything is backordered (sucks). I am mirroring the setup on the long-range package that Nosler offers.

Lastly, remember in a thread awhile back I was kind of disappointed that Nosler didn’t offer the 264 with a 26” barrel (it didn’t stop me from ordering it)? Well, Nosler put a 26” tube on it!!! How ‘bout that.

Take care,

KDN, congrats on your legacy! That's a great stick of wood man. I can wait to hear your results with it. Tom, a prewar 300 h&h and a super grade 264 win mag that's amazing. Looking forward to more pics and load development. Joe
