Okay - it's not a S&W, but it's pretty cool anyway. I HUNTED with this old revolver back in the 1970's. At least I took good care of it. This one is a .38 Special. Very nice to shoot.

Guy, is that a first generation Bisley? It must be, I don't think that they made any 2nd or 3rd Gen Bisley's? I have two Bisley's: a USFA, Bisley .45 Colt, 4-1/2" and a Ruger .357 Mag, Bisley, 7-1/2" Blackhawk revolver. I enjoy shooting both of them. The USFA is a lot lighter and handier to carry though.

My Ruger Blackhawk , 7-1/2 inch, .357 Bisley with Rosewood grips and USFA-SAA, 4-1/2 inch .45 Colt Bisley with fancy walnut grips.

Thanks Scotty, the Ruger weighs a ton with that long barrel. I carry and shoot the 4-1/2 Bisley and 5-1/2 SAA a lot more because they are more handy.

Excellent! Love your taste in handguns. Thanks for sharing the photos - and yes - there's much to be said about a handgun that actually balances well and fits the human hand.

Yours are NICE!

Thanks Guy, I really have always liked the SAA Colt. I have owned several and enjoy shooting them. They are good shooters and quite accurate. I also have a USFA Rodeo in .45 Colt with 5-1/2 inch barrel. The USFA Bisley is worn and is just a shooter but I really enjoy shooting all three of these single actions, when I can.
